Travel Card
Travel Card Issuance
Travel cards can be issued to active faculty and staff who travel frequently on University business. In addition, department travel cards are available to be assigned to an individual in a department who facilitates travel for occasional travelers, students or non-employees. It is important to note that expense reports will still be required to ensure the travel card expense is accurately paid.
Accountholders must complete mandatory training and pass an associated quiz prior to the approval and receipt of a travel card. Instructions on how to request the Travel Card are listed in the required training. The Travel course is available in Workday Learning.
Once issued, the credit card is assigned by Bank of America to the employee yet is issued in the name of and on behalf of the University. Brown University is liable to the Bank of America for all purchases on this corporate Travel Card. Use of the card does not impact the cardholder's personal credit history.
Please refer to the Travel card policy for more information.
