Direct Disbursement

  • Greenphire is a reloadable debit card. When the first payment is loaded, the card is activated, and the money is available to the participant.

Reduction in Administrative Time

  • Quicker and safer way to pay.
  • No paperwork/supplier invoices/petty cash.
  • Fewer “hands” involved to process a payment.

Central Accounting and Tax Reporting

  • All activity in Greenphire is recorded.
  • There is an Audit History of all payments for each subject, which you can print if necessary.
  • Accounts Payable funds Greenphire, and each month a journal entry is created charging studies/departments for any payments or reimbursements issued in the previous month.
  • Compliance: 1099 issued to any subject who collects $600 or more during a calendar year.

Retention

  • Participants get paid faster which makes them happy, and they’re more likely to return for the study.
  • Participant reimbursement for out of pocket expenses is loaded directly onto the payment card.

Messaging

  • Patients receive a text when a payment has been loaded on their card.
  • You can remind patients of upcoming appointments via email and/or text.

Progress Reporting
