Present your Brown ID when purchasing items. The transaction will be charged to your default cost center in Workday.

Go to your Worker Profile in the top right corner of Workday. Select View Profile. On the blue side bar that populates on the left side of the screen, click Job. Navigate to the Organizations tab at the top of the screen. Filter Organization Type by Cost Center. Your cost center will display as the Organization CCXXXXX.

ISDs will appear in your Workday inbox similar to Payroll Accounting Adjustments (PAAs). If you are a Cost Center Manager, you will see all the ISDs for your cost center, even if you initiated the ISD. Use the Workday report “Find Internal Service Delivery Lines for Organization” and enter your cost center. The report will return all ISDs associated with your cost center and includes the ISD number, status of the ISD (in progress, approved, etc.), worktags and “Awaiting Persons” so you can see where the ISD is in the business process if it has not yet been approved. From this report, you can select the ISD number on the far left and arrive at View Internal Service Delivery, which will show all the details of the ISD. You can also quickly find a specific ISD by using the Workday report View Internal Service Delivery. 

Users can find the ISDs using the WD Report "Find Internal Service Delivery Lines for Organization". This will show all ISDs for your organization. 

ISDs will route to all Cost Center Managers (CCMs) for a cost center.  If a user is both the requester and the CCM, the transaction will stay as a saved item in the user's inbox until approved by another CCM. Another CCM must approve the ISD independently for it to clear your inbox. Alternatively, if you are the only CCM for the cost center, you can delegate it to another person using the Task Actions (cog symbol) in the top left corner of the ISD in your inbox. 

No, users should not modify the document information, which is information associated with the Bookstore side of the transaction. If you attempt to modify this information, errors will result which may require central office intervention to correct. 

No, users cannot modify the revenue information. This posts the revenue side of the transaction to the Bookstore’s cost center. 

No, CCMs cannot change any of this information in the Lines section of the ISD. If you attempt to modify this information, errors will result which may require central office intervention to correct. CCMs should only make changes to the worktags, such as adding activity codes, assignees, or updating the default cost center to a grant. When changing the worktags, ensure you clear out all the related worktags (Business Unit, Cost Center, Fund and Expense Purpose Code) before adding new worktags. 

No, costing for ISDs cannot be split between accounts. To reallocate costs, process a journal entry after the ISD posts.

If the ISD is to charge a grant, your Cost Center Manager (CCM) is able to change the default worktags to a grant. Alert your CCM to your request. The CCM will also need to attach a Bookstore Purchase Grant Justification Form to the ISD noting the business purpose and project benefit. This form will be reviewed by the Office of Sponsored Programs

The transaction number displays at the top of ISDs in your inbox in the format ISD-XXXXXXX. It can also be found under the Document Number in the Workday report “Find Internal Service Delivery Lines for Organization”.
